Keeping the Community of Practice Connected
This one-day conference will bring together teachers, coaches and scholars from around the globe who use Don Hellison’s Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) model to promote positive youth development and social change through physical activity.

Newcomers interested in learning about TPSR and joining this community of practice will find introductory materials and resources that can be previewed prior to the conference. Through pre-recorded and live, interactive sessions, participants will learn how the TPSR model community is:

• Seeking to identify the current needs of individuals in the TPSR Alliance.
• Brainstorming ways to stay connected throughout the year.
• Exploring media platforms for idea sharing among scholars and practitioners.

This virtual conference is free of charge and hosted by the Physical Activity and Life Skills (PALS) Group at Northern Illinois University. Those who register will also be able to attend virtual conference sessions co-hosted with our partners in the Asia-Pacific region of the TPSR Alliance August 2-3.
